About Mid-TN Today

The origins of Mid-TN Today began several years ago and it has web-morphed a couple of times into what you see today.

At it's roots, and long before social media came into existence, Mid-TN Today began simply as a way to let friends and associates know what was going on in and around Middle Tennessee.

Mid-TN Today originally just started out as a little email list service, in 2001, then progressed into a forum i.e. message board and finally expanded into a full website with the last major change being the adaptation into rss formatted website.

In early 2008, I began re-designing the Mid-TN Today website, once again, and the newest version went live in January of 2009. While there are a few more expansion and development plans in the works (isn't there always), I don't expect them to be fully implemented in the near near future unless, of course, we begin to get out paced by technology, again.

Over the years, Mid-TN Today has transformed many times and into various forms but it has and will always stay true to it's core principals & philosophy - "To Share & Promote Middle Tennessee to friends & neighbors".
